Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Designated Alligator Collection Internal application that is used by Rockefeller office to produce permits for the collection of alligator eggs. This application issues roughly 400 Alligator Egg Permits to individuals who gather Alligator Eggs in the marsh.  Not Started 3 - High Impact This application keeps up with the roughly $10,000 it collects per year. Permits could still be produced manually for and therefore a potential degradation of services to constituents from undetermined potential efficiencies lost. Normal 49K-100K OEPT-287
Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Seafood Inspection This application is used to track seafood coming across state lines. The driver must call LDWF to get a permit number and relay information about what type of seafood, how much, where is it going, etc. If the driver is stopped after crossing state lines there could be a citation written for not being permitted to deliver seafood to or through Louisiana. Scans and uploads forms submitted by agents. In-Progress 3 - High Impact Potential undeterminable economic impact due to efficiencies lost. This is an internal facing application. Potential degradation of services to constituents from undetermined potential efficiencies lost. Key 49K-100K OEPT-294
Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Jea Patrol Mobile application that is used to keep track of Enforcement Agents' contact information with vessel operators and dealers. This mobile app built for Android and iPads is used by LDWF Law Enforcement officers to collect data from offshore vessels that is used by NOAA.  In-Progress 3 - High Impact Potential undeterminable economic impact due to efficiencies lost. This is an internal facing application. Potential degradation of services to constituents from undetermined potential efficiencies lost. Key 500K-1M OEPT-307
Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Motor Boat Licensing & Registration Internal facing application that allows for the registration and titling of all water craft. All motorized vessels/watercraft must be registered in Louisiana. This application keeps with the history of each boat, registered owners, and renewals. There are over 300,000 registered boats each year. The price to register a boat starts at $53.00 and goes up depending on the length of the boat. Boat registrations are valid for three years. In-Progress 3 - High Impact An average of $85,000 per week would be lost in revenue generation if the motorboat application was unavailable. The motorboat application brings close to $4.5M per year. The public would not be able to register/transfer a boat without this system. Key 500K-1M OEPT-314
Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Oyster Lease Management Revenue Collection, document management, lease management, mapping tool. Internal application that tracks oyster fishing leases within State territorial waters. This application is a stand-alone application on a stand-alone server that is EOL without redundancy. To harvest oysters in Louisiana you must either lease water bottoms or use public oyster grounds. This application keeps up with 400,000+ acres of leased water bottoms that are leased at a rate of $3.00 per acre. Not Started 2 - Medium Impact An average of $25,000 per week would be lost in revenue if the Oyster Lease application was unavailable. Public that owns Oyster Leases would not have access for information nor be able to transfer or renew their leases causing their livelihoods to be at risk. Key 100K-500K OEPT-320
Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Oyster Tag Sales This application acts as an inventory system for oyster tags, and allows users to sell tags and print receipts. The accounting system processes monies received by cash, credit card and checks. Money is balanced on a daily basis per processor and also balanced to the statewide LaGov system. LDWF sells roughly 3.4 million oyster tags per year. Each sack requires 1 tag. The price varies depending on the number of tags purchased. $0.45 under 100 tags; $0.25 100-999 tags; $0.15 1000+ tags, personalized tags are sold at a minimum of 6000+ for $0.15 plus a setup fee. Not Started 2 - Medium Impact Potential undeterminable economic impact due to efficiencies lost. Commercial oyster fishermen would still be able to purchase the oyster tags from the Agency. Staff could still sell tags but would need to record information on paper to be compiled for tracking later. Normal 49K-100K OEPT-321
Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Public Website (www.wlf.louisiana.gov) Public facing website for the department. It provides information to the public on the agency as well as access to regulations, rules, and links to other hunting/fishing activities. Without the public facing website, the public would not have the link to purchase hunting and fishing licenses. Complete 2 - Medium Impact WLF could potentially lose $77,000 per week that this is not available. The website brings in roughly $4 million a year in revenue. In person sales at stores or WLF regional offices would be unaffected. Access to seasonal information about hunting/fishing/boating would be unavailable. Citizens wishing to purchase hunting and or fishing licenses would have to go to agency regional offices or stores that sell licenses. Normal 100K-500K OEPT-331
